Teachers, how is the outlook in the profession?

I am now about to enter my second year of college, and am still conflicted between two majors. One being liberal studies. Although teaching would be my one main goal, what scares me most is not being able to find a job once I obtain my degree (I live in California if that helps) I am wondering, has the conditions for teachers improved? Or are they still receiving pink slips and layoffs up till today? I wish to teach in an elementary school, what are the chances of finding a descent job after college? Because of this, I am soo worried as to whether I should pursue teaching or not. I have tutored before, and helped elementary teachers out during class. I absolutely love the classroom atmosphere. The low salary doesn't even bother me, its just the fact that it seems as if its so hard to find a job afterwards. Should I still pursue teaching?

Can I omit these positions? or what would be the best way to put them on a resume?

The year 2010 was scattered with work that really didn't last i had jobs any where from 1 week to 1 month before I got a job I was at for 6 months before having to leave for scheduling issues with school. I don't bother putting the 1 week on a resume because it was only a week and the company went through a layoff right after I was hired, before that I left a position at the end of 3 week training because it wasn't what I was told the job would be, but i left my previous job that i was there for a year with for them. There was one that was a seasonal position for 1 month. can I omit all of those extremely short positions between march to october?

How do I recover my pride to be a good husband?

I know the male ego can be a bad thing and a hindrance to a relationship. My wife put me down quite a bit, told me I'm not good (future) father material, flirted openly with other men, exposed her body to two young men one of whom had a laugh and a good time of it at my expense (he was late teens or early 20s, I'm not sure) and basically said I don't earn enough money. She was going through a rough spot, was threatened with a layoff and had lost a close relative. So I tried to cut her some slack and talk it all through. But my ego is shot, I feel resentment, even of the fact that I had to do all the work to get us back on track. She is happy again and sings my praises often, though she does break down now and then and lash out at me, not with anger but with condescension and a seeming lack of respect. How does a man get past his ego? Other than marital counseling, what will help me move on?

Help! I'm afraid to ride my horse after an extended layoff.?

A little background info. My 12 y/o TB mare fractured her coffin bone 4 months ago and has been on stall rest with limited turnout. The vet has given me the ok to start riding her again for about 10 mins per day, walking only. She's very sweet, but I am still nervous to get on her after such a long vacation. Does anyone have any suggestions to make these first few rides "uneventful"? I would normally lunge her if she was being fiesty, but I am not able to do that due to her recovery. I quit my job, can I still get unemployment?

I was suppose to be layoff in August of 2010 but that was postponed until November 2010, which was delayed until January of 2011, and finally set for April 18 of 2011. In the mean time I made plans to relocate but delayed my departure to accommodate my employer and to be eligible for unemployment. However April 18 date came and went with no specific date but talk of an additional 90 days before layoffs would take effect. Without a specific date and with no confidence in the layoff to be completed in 90 days, I resigned and will be moving. My Controller and other friends suggested I still should apply for unemployment. Do you think I have a chance to still collect? I do have a paperwork with the original date and a copy of an emails explaining delays in layoffs as evidence. Thanks

What will going off estrogen birth control do to me?

I am not positive on this! but estrogen in birth control pills is what absorbs the extra testosterone in your system. This testosterone is what causes acne, so I would say going off of it will most likely break your skin out if you had bad acne before you went on birth control pills!

Can some one explain the 'up tick rule' and tell me if it is good for workers, and the economy?

You understand wrong. The uptick rule means that you cannot short sell a stock except when the trade price is higher than the previous trade price. This is neither good nor bad for the economy and doesn't have anything to do with layoffs. To the extent that it has any effect, it prevents short sellers from selling to people who have entered buy orders that are triggered by a sudden major down-draft in share price caused by the release of unfavorable news about the stock.

Why are a lot of Republicans (if not the majority of them) against regulations?

The deregulation of US banks caused the last economic recession because banks gave out loans that they knew people couldn't pay back and when they defaulted on these loans and their homes went into foreclosures, the banks lost a lot of money (in a very stupid process). The wasted stimulus money under GWB further wrecked the economy because these businesses had no major regulations in place to limit those CEOs from pocketing the money instead of creating jobs and paying their workers, so they caused job losses through huge layoffs instead.

I will be flying on a business trip soon and I was wondering if it is the amount of sky-miles I have or the number of times I have flown that gets you upgraded to first class for free? Will get layoff but employer offered other job at other location? should I accepted or open unemployment.?

I was told last Friday that i will get layoff due the company economic situation. My employer asked me if I wanted to go to other location witch is about 2 hour away from my current location and no compensation for driving to the other location or relocation benefits. So I'm thinking not going to the other location and my question is if I open my unemployment and the fact that I refused to move to the other location it is going to affect the unemployment benefits? or i should say is it a possible that my benefits get denied?

Is my previous employer bound by a contract if they go bankrupt?

I was looking for some free legal advise or anyone who may have an answer to this question. If I worked for a company and signed a voluntary lay off form when they needed layoff's and in agreement to signing this lay off form they agreed to pay for my schooling which started later that year. I have the contract they and I signed. Now to find out the company in question has finally claimed bankrupcy. Does this company still legally have to pay for my schooling which was in my signed contract. You should talk to an admissions counselor at Clemson, or even someone in the departments you mentioned. They may have suggestions that will help you go to Clemson while still pointing you on the path to being a journalist. Honestly though...i don't want to say you'd be better off going to another college, but it's something you should keep on the table as an option.

If you think you have a low milk supply try pumping ... maybe that will help you to produce more milk and your baby will have less frustration when trying to feed. Also u didn't mentioned the age of your baby, but it could also be nipple confusion. If she is easily getting more formula from a bottle she will most likely want to eat that way. I guess the best advice I could give besides pumping to increase supply, other than contacting a local lactation consultant. Best of luck to you and your little one :)

Pregnant? Period? or Paranoid?

Here's my situation. I usually get my period June 10th. However, I had sex June 3rd. It was protected, but there was an accident. The condom broke. We noticed it right away, but timing never makes a difference with these things. Now, I am the type to worry about everything, so of course, the whole 7 days after, I was freaking out. On the 10th, I did not get my period...or the 11th...or the 12th...or the 13th...I grew worried throughout those days. However, on the 14th, I finally gave up and assumed I was pregnant. Then, I got my period. Now, I believe it was my period because it filled up pads for the first 3 days then slowed down the last two (like always, 5 days). I stopped worry for a little while. Then I started googling information to calm myself down and be prepared in case of another scare. Of course, this did not help me. I learned about implantation bleeding and I grew worried again. As I said, the bleeding filled up the pads and it was red all the way through. Not pinkish or brown. So again, I calmed down for a few days. Then 2 weeks after I began having discharge. Again, I began to worry. I am aware that you have frequent discharge during pregnancy. I did some more googling and calculating and came to the conclusion that I was just ovulating. I know you can't ovulate while you're pregnant. My discharge is clear, sticky, and has the "egg white" texture. I was able to stretch it out between my thumb and pointer finger. As you can see, I worry a lot. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I plan on taking another one soon, but in the mean time, am I just stressing myself out too much? Was that my actual period? Help me out. :l I'm quite the worrier as you can see.

My dentist is kind of a jerk, would he be able to tell that I smoke cannabis?

Ok, so i have a real jerk for a dentist. he's very ornery and annoying. Of course he doesn't know that i think that, but that's not the point. Point is i'm going to high school next year and i plan on trying and using cannabis. I need to know if cannabis leaves stains on the teeth like cigarettes. Because if it does I'm worried that he might say something to my mom about it. He's not really a friend of my parents though and he's just our dentist, but the problem is, is that when he shows the x-rays my mom and my bros and sister all go in, because we all have it done on the same day. So doing that makes it easier for my mom, because we go one after another and get out of there quick. I just need to know if he would be able to tell that I'm smoking cannabis or just tell if I am smoking in general. I'm a frequent coffee drinker if that help and I know that coffee also stains the teeth, so would that mask it if cannabis use does show up on the x-rays? Also, I'm 15 if that helps and my parents are very serious christians. they're just sending me to school this year and my mom told me that if she found out i was doing anything like that she would pull me out of school and make me home school. so i really need your help. I never want to go back to that because it made me miserable.

Will we both go to jail?

Got divorced last year. Was awarded sole custody and child support with my ex getting every other weekend. He lives 4.5 hours from me so the judge said we each had to pick the child up. That means two, sometimes three times a month I have to make and pay for the trip. In court I was awarded 20% of his pay (prior to courts getting involved and us both getting lawyers I filed for support through the state, he skipped the hearing and was across the country so they determined the amount and it was about 7% of what he made.) since court he has continued to pay the 7% and not the 20. I didn't mind at first because I had a good paying job and at least he was paying something. I put my son in private school and things were going well. After 5 months of not getting the court ordered amount and gas going up I called my attorney. We went back to court and have our next date in 2 weeks. The last time we went to court was on a Tuesday...my son was on spring break so I told my ex in front of the judge that he could take him that day and I'd pick him up Sunday. The next week I lost my job due to comPany layoffs. I spoke to my attorney and asked him what I am supposed to do. I did what he said, called my ex...told him he can still have every other weekend but he will have to do the driving both ways unless he is going to pay the full amount in support (if he pays the right amount then it would cover the cost of gas to do the trip 2 times a month and will leave 150, if he gets 3 weekends I pay out of pocket for gas) he has NEVER paid the right amount so since August every month I've paid out of pocket for gas. Well he hasn't seen him since spring break and refuses to do all the driving. He filed a police report against me the first weekend after our conversation for not letting him have visitation. The police called me...took my statement and that's that. He hasn't paid a dime towards the backpay..hasn't made the accurate payment in the 2 months since we went to court and yesterday I found out he managed to stop the garnishment for the 7%. So I basically have nothing. I have been busting my *** trying to find work (no pride at all I will do any job for any pay) and have had to apply for food stamPs which was really shameful for me. Prior to my marriage and during it and after (until now) I've always been in a good place financially. I know I am in contempt for not allowing the visits but when my ex is telling me that "if I don't come pick my son up he will file for custody stating I abandoned him." when we go to court is it possible the judge will put us both in jail for contempt? What would happen to my child? I am not trying to punish my ex, there has never been any animosity until now. I don't want to appear vindictive and evil in court but given the circumstances, his lack of pay, my loss if a job and then the threats and advice from my attorney...I felt like I did the right thing. I never once said he can't see our son, I just wanted to know he was coming back. Any advice? Can they put both parents in jail? State is Illinois if it helps. And he is military (don't tell me to contact jag or his command...both told me where to go)

Hah Erik. Truth is the USA has always been in debt, from the time is was formed to now, far beyond any gov't or financial plan can solve. If the president were to say the country is going down the drain, everybody would sell their stocks(creating another depression), mass hysteria would form, prices would inflate and the value of the US dollar would plummet and the whole world economy would collapse. Is this anxiety or am I just thinking way too much?

On and off since November due to a layoff, new job, new commute, traffic, then dealing with a new location. I dont know if its because Im lonley (I bought a house at 24 by myself) or Im stressed out. But sometimes I get a little nervous and anxious. I started seeing a therapist because this is all new to me. I dont want to call it full blown anxiety because their not Bad. My heart may race, I may feel uneasy but only lasts a couple of minutes. Does the feeling ever go away? My therapist said that its new things in my life and I just need to become comfotable again.

Frequent Stomach ache in Child?

My seven-year old daughter has been complaining of stomachaches, 1-2 per week for the last month. Never vomits or has diarrhea, just has a stomachache. She goes to day camp and has problems with some of the other kids there and the counselors, she says the some of the kids make fun of her and the counselors are not nice. She goes there Monday through Wednesday and last week I had to leave work early due to her complaining of a stomach ache and also have to leave early today due to the same thing. When she is home, she says her stomach feels better and she acts pretty much normal. I am thinking there is something psychological going on here, but I don't want to ignore any possible physical symptoms. Any advice on this?

Could I still be pregnant?

I had sex back in April with out protection. I took 3 home pregnancy test they all came out negative. I started my period, it was bad lots of pain (10x more then normal) and heavy bleeding. I went to the Dr and they said it was most likely a miscarriage but never tested me to see if I was pregnant or miscarrying. Now it's almost July and I have symptoms of being pregnant. Although I have had my period for the month of June (in May was my bad period an I was told I miscarried) My period for the month of June was light but heaver then spotting, and it was kinda light colored. I am nauseous (but not throwing up), my boobs got bigger, nipples are darker (but they don't hurt) I have been more moody and tired, I have been a little dizzy on an off with a few minor headache, and frequent heartburn (which I rarely experience). Could I still be pregnant? I am thinking I could of been pregnant with twins but lost 1 of them. I just don't know please help!!

I am 29 and due to a layoff last year that significantly reduced my income I was forced to move back in with my parents, I now make 20,000 dollars a year. I also have a three year old daughter that moved with me, whom I have full custody of, but her father has visitation every other week for a full week until September when she starts school and his visitation changes to every other saturday and sunday. You're doing the right thing, just try to be calm and normal and don't be too loud. If, after a couple weeks you are still having anxiety and they are still telling you you are too enthusiastic, then honestly they have a problem which isn't yours and they are causing bad chemistry for you. In that case you might have to move on. When I tried working at JC Penney the trainer accused me of 'just standing there like a mute statue' but what did she expect when she was saying things like 'Are you ok?' 'What's wrong with you?' etc. I dumped that job fast, and this problem has never repeated itself. That's because, it was her problem and not mine. So I think it's your bosses problem and not yours.

Like many people in LAUSD are getting laid off, teachers, counselors, librarians and so on. Lets say they get off, they don't have a job so they can't pay their mortgage, or pay the loans to the bank, therefore lose their house...So many people won't be able to repay their bank loans then the banks could possibly go bankrupt? You aren't being fired, it just sounds like they don't have the money to pay you, so they have to let you go. Doesn't matter how good you are at your job if they don't have any money.

When it is really hot outside my AC in my car blows hot air in the evenings and early it is fine?

I had my AC in my car flushed and a freon charge last summer. The air works fine in the early AM and evenings. When it is really hot out mid-day and I make frequent stops it starts blowing hot air. What is the problem here? It only does this from June to Sept each year.

Crooked knee cap? surgery?

Ok so ive had an issue with my knees sense i was 16. i first popped my knee cap out when i was 16 and the doctor told me i hyper extend both my knees and that i would have to take physical therapy and work on not hyper extending my knee. so i go through physical therapy and ive worked on not extending my knee which im successful at most of the time. The issue is even after physical therapy i still had problems with my knee. I have frequent pain, swelling, and popping and clicking. I let it go though and just tried to take pain medicine and just keep going. Last april my knee cap popped out again i had to quit my job and ive been in physical therapy sense. I didn't mention the popping and clicking or pain and swelling that i keep having but last friday when they were doing massage therapy they noticed that my knee cap was crooked i knew something had been wrong with it sense the first tie my knee popped out. My physical therapist says i have to see the doctor again. What im wondering is if there going to do surgery this time or not? im kinda on the fence about having surgery i want my knee to be stable and fine again but im already out of a job and my dad is losing his job july 21st i even had to stop being a vegetarian because we cant afford my replacement meals or vitamins anymore im having serious stomach pains and heartburn for eating meat again. My insurance will cover the surgery so the money doesn't worry me so much but i have bills to pay and im so miserable eating meat again i would really love to hurry up and get a job again so i can pay my bills and by my own groceries again. so is there a chance im going to need surgery and if so how long will it take me to bounce back and get to work. Ive been in physical therapy for almost 3 months now and there very little improvement so is it going to be that long if i have the surgery? Company wants to send me to India to train....?

We had layoffs two weeks ago of almost half the people I work with. Basically been told the whole dept is going somewhat soon maybe 6 mo to a year at most. I have been asked to go to India for 4 weeks to train. Obviously to replace me. I hold no animosity toward them as it’s the Company higher ups that are sending the job there. There is no extra compensation, just expenses covered and a free "trip". My larger question is...does this look good on a resume? And would you do it? I just bought a condo and I can hear the person who lives above me walking around. It's not too bad, but I came from an apartment where I lived on the top floor so didn't have to deal with it. My condo is also above the garage, and when the garage door goes up and down, it rumbles throughout my living room. Only lasts about 10 seconds and isn't too frequent since this is only a 12 unit building, so again, not too bad, but would consider soundproofing the entire unit. It's a 2 bedroom, 1000 sq ft unit. Directv dvr freezing/not responding?

I have a Directv dvr and sometimes when I do something it won't respond. Ex. I hit the guide button and it comes up, and I scroll like twice and it stops, I hit the button again but nothin. Or watch something recorded and start to fast forward and it keeps going and going. The light flashes on the dvr acknowledging I hit the button but nothing happens for about 30 seconds. I have an osteochondroma on my left knee. The turmor is medial to my knee cap. The tumor is roughly 3 inches in diameter and is on my femur. Recently I have been experiencing frequent pain. This pain is similar to when you need to crack your elbow. I feel this pain when I try and touch my right knee with my left heel. How Do I Handle 11-Month Old Chihuahua Aggression?

I have been very consistent in training my chihuahua, who is now currently 11 months old and 9 lbs. He has been with me since 12-weeks and was neutered as a young puppy as he had started to exhibit certain behaviours (humping objects, etc) that led it to be advised. He is crate trained, potty trained, social and friendly in the dog park, but has exhibited aggressive behaviours from time to time. He is not allowed on the furniture, is made to wait for humans to enter doors first, and must sit or do other tricks to be rewarded or served his food. However, his aggression has been most seen around food, guarding his crate, guarding me, or when people pet him. Before, he would always want attention from others, but now he will be comfortable receiving a pet but then suddenly turns and snaps, warding off whoever is petting him. My boyfriend, who lives with us, is the most frequent victim. This past weekend, after getting picked up from the train station, I was sitting with my mother and the dog in the back seat of the car. She was petting and he suddenly tensed up and tried to bite her. Prior, he had always been very calm and well behaved in the car. On another occasion, while sitting on my boyfriend's lap in the car, my boyfriend was holding him and moved his hands slightly and the dog began to growl. I'd don't know if this is fear based or territorial. But the behaviour is very fickle and changes quickly. He will be accepting one minute, then suddenly tense and upset. He has been examined recently with a good bill of health. This behaviour is never exhibited towards me. After he lashes out, he instantly gets embarrassed, will lower his head in submission, and know that he has done something wrong. But he will still possibly lash out if anyone is in his space. I'm worried as this behaviour is new, as in the past few weeks, and I want to nip it in the bud. In regards to his aggression in the crate, I've had my boyfriend casually drop treats into the crate when the dog is resting inside, and speaking kindly to him. This is slowly improving and he is more accepting of people's presence near his crate. However, the other moments when he snaps are concerning me. If anyone has any advice-- please let me know. I have also been seeing a behaviorist to assist, but wanted to gather additional feedback.

Overly interactive neighbor or am I overreacting?

I apologize for the length of this yet wanted to provide enough detail so that your opinions could be formed to help me determine if I'm just overreacting or if the neighbor is crossing the line. Here goes: I have recently and only temporarily moved in to my boyfriends house and everything is fabulous, except for one of his neighbors. I have expressed feelings of discomfort to my boyfriend and while he agrees that his neighbor is crazy, he is too nice of a guy to really say anything. At some point the wife confided in my boyfriend that her husband is crazy and she and the kids are planning on moving out once the youngest, her son, graduates high school. Over time she continues to give him little nuggets of info about her crazy husband and periodically brings baked goods and bakes treats for our dogs, though her family has no pets. In the past six months she has brought over more than 50 name brand shirts from a designer outlet store for my boyfriend. Following her sons recent graduation her husband was out of town for a few nights. In his absence, she allowed her son to throw a big pool party, complete with underage drinking. At one point, close to midnight, she came over asking to borrow some ice and when my boyfriend explained he doesn't have an ice maker, we use trays, she asked to borrow a couple. When there was a possible threat of cops coming to her house to break up the party,she rounded up all the trash and put the cans next to our trashcans in front of his garage. The next day she sent my boyfriend a text and then stopped by to tell my boyfriend what was going on, and to give him another bag of polo shirts. He ensured her he wouldn't mention it to her husband and thanked her for the shirts. Although I am clearly home all day, she does not come over unless he is home. We have only had a few interchanges and she gave me a couple dresses, which I followed up with a thank you card and personal thanks. She seems to dart from her car to the front door when I'm around and it makes me wonder why she seems to avoid me and then comes over multiple times a day when my boyfriend is around. When we decided to leave some clothes we were going to donate on top of a shopping bag full of clothes she left at the front door, to try and send her the hint, she moved the bag so that it was directly in front of the door on the welcome mat and then took the bag from the new phone book that was on the step and hung it from the doorknob with a box of turnovers. I'm trying my best to ignore her and to maintain the neighborly relationship between my boyfriend and his neighbors but I can't help but feel uncomfortable by her constant gifts, unsolicited advice, unsolicited and detailed personal information, and frequent interruptions. We've tried to ignore her when she rings the bell but she just calls, texts or comes back later at all hours of night/day. When my boyfriend and I talk about it I feel terrible because he can't control her actions and yet I feel like something needs to be said or things will continue to be weird. He is under the impression that she's just crazy but harmless. I find it odd that a middle aged woman thinks discussing her marital issues with her twenty-something neighbor is acceptable. Why am I pooping so much?

It's been the same thing for over a week now and I'm getting a little annoyed. I have the frequent urge to poop all the time. I get the urge many times throughout the day. Almost every time, the urge is a "monkey gut" feeling where I feel as though I have to go use the bathroom immediately or I will crap my pants. Although, a lot of the time when I get those urges, I ignore them and they go away, and they come back later. Some of the time though, I do go use the bathroom because the urge to poop is more intense. This has been going for over a week, and it's not going away. At first, it started off as more of a diarrhea-type thing, and I figured that it'd eventually wear off, but obviously it hasn't. My poop isn't "hard", but it's no longer diarrhea either; it's in the middle. I haven't really pooped a lot when I do go, just small or moderate amounts. Im 17 going on 18 soon and its been happening since last year i get frequent headaches one side of my head would throb ot both sides and times i would randomly be nauseated. 40 weeks pregnant and constipated?

I am 40 w +2 d pregnant and am 4 cm dilated and baby is EXTREMELY low. I have had 3 membrane sweeps done and they don't seem to be working. My entire pregnancy haven't had any constipation issues. Frequent Stomach aches in Child?

My seven-year old daughter has been complaining of stomachaches, 1-2 per week for the last month. Never vomits or has diarrhea, just has a stomachache. She goes to day camp and has problems with some of the other kids there and the counselors, she says the some of the kids make fun of her and the counselors are not nice. She goes there Monday through Wednesday and last week I had to leave work early due to her complaining of a stomach ache and also have to leave early today due to the same thing. Hello, I've recently been experiencing very dark and thin stool. It is almost black in color, contains what appears to be unprocessed particles, appears very loose and amorphous, and possesses a wispy and almost hair-like quality. I am a young female who has not been taking supplements of any sort or consuming similarly colored foods. I certainly do not eat much and experience frequent stomach upset and diarrhea upon eating. I have purged within the last week which resulted in diarrhea immediately after. Also, in prior months I had experienced persistent feelings of needing to clear the throat followed by the taste of blood in the past. Ah, the Hunger Games is quite good! It's not really the best written, but then again, neither is Twilight and both series managed to captivate me. I always get these nose bleeds where clear fluid drips out of my nose instead of blood. It is really similar to blood in taste and smell and I get frequent nose bleeds with blood also so I don't realize it's clear fluid until I notice the color. It typically happens out of only one nostril which I read is a symptom of CSF. They also are accompanied by headaches usually(another symptom). The last serious head injury I had was 2 years ago and I went to the hospital and was told I had nothing wrong with my head. That's the same year these clear nose bleeds started. I did ask my doctor about then once but she just gave me allergy meds. I'm also currently under close examination for schizophrenia and related issues. I hallucinate and such which I always assumed played into the blood nose bleeds. I have been to a bunch of doctors for the hallucinations lately and have had a CT Scan. Does anyone think it's possible that I have had CSF for 2 years without anyone noticing? Would a CT Scan have picked it up if I had? Directv dvr freezing/not responding?

I have a Directv dvr and sometimes when I do something it won't respond. Ex. I hit the guide button and it comes up, and I scroll like twice and it stops, I hit the button again but nothin. Why do I have a weak immune system?

I have severe allergies, seasonal and chronic, I get sick often and recover slowly. Hay fever can leave me bedridden for days and many medications don't work for me. But I don't understand why. I eat healthy, whole organic foods, never eat processed foods, and exercise daily. I don't smoke cigarettes, I maintain proper hygiene....I mean, I shower daily and even floss every night. I go to the dentist and doctor when in supposed to. I live in a rural area, get plenty of fresh air and am not exposed to environmental toxins. I use hypoallergenic bedding and cleaners, all my clothes are made of natural fibers. But this all doesn't stop me from getting frequent viruses and colds that last a long time, or from sneezing and itching during allergy season. I'm starting immunotherapy soon but I'm dubious as to how effective it will be. No amount of medication in the past has seemed to ease symptoms, or work like it does for others. Im sure it's not a karma issue either, lol...I pay my taxes on time and volunteer. I get so angry when my best friend boasts how he can eat whatever he wants, keep a messy house and never visit a doctor, and still be a picture of health. Was I just born this way? What else can I do to boost my immune system? I dont take vitamins, is that it? I'm desperate to live my life without being sick all the time.

My husband witnessed an accident in MS 2 yrs ago. Now we live in TN and have absolutely no financial means to get there to testify. He wants to do the right thing but between layoffs we are barely able to afford rent and groceries much less days off and a 2 day trip hundreds of miles away. I was fired by email stating that I verbally resigned and I didn't can this be done?

If my company stated that I verbally told them i would resign and I didn't what can I do? They sent me an email stating that's what I said and fired me through email. Also what if my position was originally picked to receive a layoff due to the company outsourcing and they decided to fire me due to this "verbal notice"? Girls, female friend opinion?

I'd really like to know if you think my female friend might have feelings for me. We've worked together for 2 years now. We're really close and she trusts me quite a bit. As a background she has told me that in general she is a shy person. We usually have boundaries up since we're "friends" and both are in relationships but I've noticed that she's touched me on the arm when i make her laugh or I got slapped recently (in front of others) for teasing her. This is only when I catch her off guard with a joke or teasing cause she is usually reserved and composed. But at other times she seems distant so I can't figure it out. How old are you? This all sounds very junior high school, and while that may be expected of the students, you should be more mature. If your students liked you, they wouldn't do this stuff. You have not presented yourself as a professional who wants to help the students reach their goals. It's too bad you're getting cut because of budget shortages, although there's no reason that I know of that that can't be explained to students. It's going on everywhere. But you're an example of why experience counts. You've overreacted to your students, and not handled this very well. Why should anything an adolescent does, says or thinks infuriate you? Grow up!

Uncommon Unique Female dog names?

I am getting a female puppy on Friday and i need to name it. My mom likes crazy names and i don't. In the past she has named her dogs Arlen and Ryker. (they were males) My Mom agreed for something in between. She said she would go for a "regular" name that is unique. We are getting a golden retriever white shepherd mix. Mexican candy, similar to starburst?

I used to have a friend who took frequent trips to mexico. She would bring back a candy for me that came in a small bag, and the pieces were individually wrapped squares. It tasted like starburst but way softer, and I can't remember the name of it! Help?

Frequent urination, and fishy smell?

In the past few days I have noticed that I have to frequently urinate and even after I urinate I still feel the urge to as if I didn't get it all out and will shortly after have to go again and will experience the same urge right after emptying my bladder. Along with that I've noticed that I have a fishy discharge smell it isn't strong. Other than that I have noticed no other symptoms no burning when I pee or anything like that. I bought some urinary tract infection pills to see if that relieves any of the symptoms and I took a urinary tract infection test and it came back negative. It has been over a year since I had unprotected sex, could it possibly be an STD? (from what I've read I haven't noticed that my symptoms really match up too closely to STD symptoms as I'm sure you can see.) Or is it more likely an infection? I read something about Bacterial Vaginious which apparently causes a fishy smell but it didn't seem like any of the symptoms of that were frequent urination? Does anyone know what this could be? I can't visit my doctor until next week as I am out of town, but I have myself so stressed I can't even enjoy my trip at this point.. I'm such a worrier so this is just traumatic for me, someone please give me advice, tips, remedies, or ideas of what this could be! You won't believe how appreciative I'll be of any responses!

When you get out the shower. Towel dry your hair so it's semi dry then take a bit of conditioner and run it through your hair and scrunch it. What is the likely hood of me going into labor sometime this week?

Today i turned 37 weeks and about a week ago i was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced, haven't been checked since. I have been having some cramping on and off, braxton hicks has become more frequent and stronger, been having to poop a lot (sorry to much info), baby has dropped a bit, lost my mucus plug a few weeks ago gradually, and had a bloody show about a week ago. Also been having some pelvic pressure and sometimes it feels like my tailbone is bruised and hurts to walk at times. I have been feeling very exhausted like i haven't slept in days even though i have been getting a lot of sleep. I also been having sharp stabbing pains in my cervix area as well as pressure. How likely do you think i will go into labor sometime this week or weekend? this is my 2nd baby. Thanks for your input!

Me and my DH have been TTC with no luck. but my last period was June 2-6, ovulating June 13th-19th. Sex on june 7,9,11,12,14,16,18, &19. Last few weeks I've had bad headaches and frequent urination.
