Why don't USA citizens realize this whole recovery thing is a big lie?

Hah Erik. Truth is the USA has always been in debt, from the time is was formed to now, far beyond any gov't or financial plan can solve. If the president were to say the country is going down the drain, everybody would sell their stocks(creating another depression), mass hysteria would form, prices would inflate and the value of the US dollar would plummet and the whole world economy would collapse. This in turn would lead to riots/revolutions/rebellions, pretty much every country would fight for the control of oil(which were already experiencing) and the world would end. :)
