Can these symptoms be caused by menstruation? please help :)?

No these aren't symptoms of a period, and I'm assuming your doctor had you do a pregnancy test to rule that out since these are pregnancy symptoms. I'm surprised your doctor didn't answer these questions for you or at least tried to solve the problem.
